Givesin
Web Platform
Givesin is a minimalist fundraising tool designed specifically for non-profits and mobile donors. Addressing the low conversion rates caused by lengthy traditional donation processes, Givesin utilizes a "one link, three steps" mechanism to transform fragmented one-time donations into stable monthly recurring revenue.
By significantly lowering technical barriers, we empower NPOs to break free from endless fundraising cycles and focus their energy on their core mission and social impact.

Problem Statement
In the era of digital and social media, the act of donating is often driven by a fleeting emotional spark. However, existing donation workflows are fraught with obstacles: outdated non-mobile-optimized interfaces, tedious form-filling, and mandatory account registration.
This creates a high-friction experience that exhausts donor patience and causes NPOs to miss critical opportunities to convert social media engagement into long-term, sustainable support.
NPO Operators: Those who lack the technical resources to build automated subscription systems and urgently need predictable cash flow to plan long-term projects.
Mobile Donors: Users accustomed to social media referrals and mobile-first interactions who seek a minimalist, secure experience with the flexibility to adjust their subscription status at any time.

Pain Point
Current donors find the processes cumbersome and the mobile interfaces difficult to use; combined with concerns about security and the difficulty of canceling, this leaves NPOs with unstable and unpredictable budgets.
How might we?
How might we streamline the donation process to secure support within 60 seconds before emotional motivation fades, while using design-led cues to encourage small recurring subscriptions for predictable financial structures, all while enabling NPOs to onboard and accept global support within just 5 minutes?
Problem Solution
We created a closed-loop experience that converts social media traffic into long-term support within 60 seconds by implementing a minimalist one-link conversion funnel and subscription-oriented design language, paired with a transparent, high-autonomy trust framework deeply optimized for mobile social scenarios.
Exploration & Ideation Phase
After establishing Givesin's core strategy of solving donation pain points through "subscription-based links," our primary mission was to materialize the abstract concept of a "low-friction experience."
During this phase, our focus extended beyond mere aesthetics to the core objective of making users feel simplicity, speed, and trust.
A/B Testing
Early Prototypes
To find the most intuitive navigation, we tested different paths from the Homepage to the NPO Portfolio. We simplified the interface by removing the story bar to reduce visual clutter, allowing users to focus entirely on the causes.
By refining interaction details like expanding/collapsing content, we ensured a cleaner browsing experience that aligns with our "low-friction" goal of connecting donors to NPOs faster.
We simplified the onboarding process to allow NPOs and donors to complete their setup in minutes. Organizations can select service fields like Animal Welfare or Mental Health to help donors discover them more easily, while the registration immediately distinguishes between Organizations and Supporters, so everyone sees the specific features they need.
Onboarding & Roles
To maximize the reach of every donation, I designed Social Insight Cards, dynamic, shareable assets optimized for Instagram Stories.
Instead of a static "thank you," these cards capture meaningful impact moments, allowing donors to share their commitment and NPO stories instantly. This creates a powerful referral loop that bridges the gap between social discovery and active support.
Social Amplification
The Final Solution
Website / App
We conducted an in-depth study of the UI/UX patterns used by successful subscription services and major social platforms.
By analyzing their minimalist registration flows, mobile-optimized interfaces, and intuitive information hierarchy, we explored how to integrate these familiar patterns into the donation context to minimize the user's learning curve.
Competitive & Social Benchmarking
Visual Style Exploration
To convey Givesin’s friendly, modern, and trustworthy brand personality, we simultaneously tested multiple visual languages. This involved experimenting with color palettes, selecting between illustration and photography styles, and testing various page layouts. Our goal was to identify visual symbols that resonate with "simplicity, warmth, and efficiency," intentionally moving away from the heavy or dated feel of traditional non-profit websites.
UI Layout & Flow Iteration
To deliver on the promise of "one link, three steps," we iteratively refined the layouts of key pages through multiple wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes. We focused heavily on the critical path: Clicking the Link → Selecting an Amount → Completing Payment, ensuring that the information hierarchy was clear and every interaction was frictionless. Additionally, we simulated display effects within social media in-app browsers to guarantee seamless cross-platform adaptability.
