MONST x PUNK
Branding
MONST x PUNK is a creative project that merges the rich mythology of Japanese monsters with the bold aesthetics of American punk culture. Through in-depth research into the unique traits of Japanese yokai and the rebellious spirit of punk, I reimagined and redesigned a series of dynamic characters and creatures.
Ideation & Development
Building on this concept, I developed a range of merchandise, including stickers, apparel, and posters, each reflecting the fusion of these two distinctive styles.
To engage a wider audience, I documented the design process, showcasing the creation of characters and products, and shared the journey on my social media platforms to connect with enthusiasts and collaborators.
Music Album
Character-inspired music album covers were created to visually express each persona’s mood and identity.
Beverage Can
By developing a set of characters with unique traits and backstories, I created a full line of soda cans, each flavor visually reflecting the character it represents.
